Personality :

Ryan shouldn't be a Dowling. He is nothing like his family and everyone knows that. He is quiet, preferring to read a book than party and get wasted. He's sweet, always being nice to everyone and making sure they are all ok. He's not very flirty, though this seemed to appeal to the boys and girls who fall for him. He's almost oblivious to the effect he can have on people, mostly because his head is always buried in a book, even on tour when everyone around him is drinking. He is easily swayed by his twin but she is the only person he will let change his mind and even then he can be wary about it. He is loyal to his twin and his family, even if he claims he really doesn't like Kieran. He will defend them against anything and although he never really shouts, he will hit someone if they push him far enough. He doesn't like violence so it is not very often that he will hit someone.

Looks:

Ryan is like any other boy with his messy hair and jeans low on his waist. He's not a big fan of the skinny jeans his parents STILL wear even though they are much older than when they first came on tour. He wears a lot of hats, whether they are caps or beanie hats or anything of the sort. He likes to wear hoodies, normally stealing them off Benji if he is wearing one. He doesn't have any tattoos or scars because he just doesn't do anything dangerous at all. He smiles with his mouth closed because he can get self-conscious of his teeth. He's not very muscuar due to the fact he would rather read than work out but he is relatively strong and his stomach is flat.

History:

Ryan Dowling was also, like his twin, born in a storm of craziness that is his family. He was the youngest twin, born two minutes after his sister, Jamie Junior, to Kristine and Jamie. However, neither of them had planned this and after a one-night stand, the twins were born. Kristine was with Oliver Barr at the time and Jamie with Kieran Holocomb, so although there was massive uproar, in the end they settled down and Ryan too lived in a relatively safe family environment. He, like Jamie Jr, spent most of his childhood switching between his two parents before eventually he spent more time with his mother and kept most of his stuff there, unlike his sister who stayed permanently with their father and Kieran.

Ryan grew up as a little angel, always quiet and happier in his own company than being covered in attention. He never threw tantrums and anything that he broke was broken by accident bringing on floods of tears that he'd get in trouble. He never got told off, never stepped out of line or caused trouble. As he got older, he stayed as he was when he was younger, more interested in books and studying than sex and drinking. He eventually did have sex but only when his sister would make him drink. He wasn't interested in any of it but eventuall after a few drunken sessions with Benji, they became a couple and came to tour as a couple, even though he is worried that Benji will stray from him and towards the more expressive people.
